Ok so I just got back from the mall from changing my plan for my blackberry to the $15 Dollars unlimited e-mail.

Will I get charged the amount of times I use the Windows Live Messenger and the Blackberry Messenger?

I'm just wondering if I will get charged for using it and for using Windows Live Messenger.

If you just have unlimited email, I am guessing you will get charged for using Windows Live Messenger. If you have unlimited data, you won't be.

Blackberry messenger is included with the $15 so you can use it as much as you want.

Windows Live Messenger and Google Talk icons just randomly appeared on my berry last night and I'm also curious as to whether or not the use of those is included in the unlimited e-mail plan. I'm thinking not, but it doesn't really make sense that they work because this plan doesn't let you have internet... Anyone out there know?

yes you will get charge for any txt or IM's. Texting and emailing are two different things. I know because I gotten charge before. You need an messenger package. I have unlimited txt message on my plan. but u can get differents plans

I have been on the rogers $15 plan for 8 months.
Last month Windows Live Messenger and Google Talk icons popped up, so I installed Windows Live and used it for a bit (500KB to install). I just got my bill and there are no charges for data (it shows 6 megs, and the usual $0.00). I just installed google talk, we'll see how that goes. (I also use opera mini fairly often and never get charged for that).
I called Rogers to ask about how my data charges work, they assured me that I do not have access to anything that will result in a data charge.
