Exclamation OS v4.5.0.21 for 8310 AT&T Yes, I finally got it!!!

Please Login to Remove!

I finally got my hands on this OS!! It's the 2nd to final release! I just installed it on my Crimson. I included a picture for proof. I find it kinda of slow though. Does anyone know if any other carriers Curve has a different processor than the ATT. I just find it to be a little bit slow to button reaction. I am using the L theme. Don't know if this could be the cause of it.

A friend gave it to me today. He gave me the OS for the 8310 and in a couple of days he's gonna give me the OS for the 8320. It's still the Beta, but they only have one more release before its official. This release doesn't include Docs To Go Excell. That's the next release. I can't mention anything else.

Wirelessly posted (8310; The Juggernaut)

And you are far from correct that it is the second to final release.
Likewise if your friend told you that, not very "in" either.

...so that's why they have released seven different OS's since the version 4.5.0.21 that you have installed on your device?

4.5.0.26
4.5.0.28
4.5.0.29
4.5.0.30
4.5.0.33
4.5.0.37
4.5.0.38

I think NDA-huntz has a place to send in an image file with your signature for that exact puropose....... ;)

I agree with the above sentiments, most likely your friend is someone who acquired it through a rapidshare link or torrent site and wanted to make you feel better about loading a beta OS on your phone.

FWIW, I attempted to load the latest beta for my phone and UMA died completely. So now I'm back to a hybrid of .18 and .10.

It's the second to final version that someone who knows someone with a friend at a carrier that deals with RIM thought he overheard on the men's room.

All rumors.

I didn't think any of the 4.5 OS versions had been officially released.

They haven't been, however if they are distributed, even only internally at RIM, then they have been released in some form or fashion. If I would have said 'publically released', then that's another story. The point of the matter was that the one the OP acquired was far from the 'second to last' beta.
