There isn't a pro version. Like above.....8100 is an 8100.

well i have tried (without luck!) to update a "dead" 8100 with

8100EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel81_PL2.7.0.68_A4.5.0.55_S ingTel

and this

8100-v4.5.0.46_P2.7.0.63

and when i manage to get in (bypassing jvm) it says there sint any software available for this phone. i had this problem before with anther 8100, the software then said it was for a 8100m then i tried 8100c software. but you both say its the same.. i am now confused! thanks for your help so far though!

I bricked my 8100 when i upgraded to 4.5. After a few tries I ended up using a 4.3 att os and it worked again.

not sure if this works when loading through jvm, but make sure to delete the vendor.xml file

there is not 4.3 OS for the 8100, you meant 4.5?

There is 4.3 for the 8100 (that's what mine was shipped with!) but yeah, I think you've either not deleted the vendor file, or you've actually got an 8110 or 8120 or 8130 and not just an 8100, take the battery out and check would be my best advice

ya you probably have the 8110 or 8120 since att doesn't have the 8100 anymore
