If you delete them from your BBM list, you should also get deleted from theirs.

Are they BBM'ing you or sending PIN messages?

Um I guess I dont know the difference but I am pretty sure they are sending me a blackberry message. So if I delete them off of my contact list they should not be able to see me anymore on theirs? But they will still have my pin saved under my contact so they can jsut keep sending me requests.

Wirelessly posted (My blond BlackBerry)

If they have your PIN saved then yes, they can keep sending requests.

This will not block PIN or BBM messages that the OP is talking about.

I think they need to implement a way for you to block pin messages.

In OS 4.5+ you can block all PINs from those not in your address book.

When I want to bug my buddy I ping the crap out of him, like 20 or 30 times in rapid succession. I know he's cursing me and it gives me the biggest dumb grin!

Options > Security Options > Firewall

Staus: Enable
Put a Check mark in PIN

scroll down Except Messages from:

You have two choices, pull from your Address Book or Specific Addresses . If you choose Specific Addresses you can press the application button and choose Configure exceptions. In there you can add email addresses, PIN and phone number to allow through.

This somewhat relates, and I don't think it deserves its own thread. If someone deletes you from their contact list, do your conversations disappear as well? thanks in advance!

But do you do it the correct way to cause the most misery?

Step 1. Turn Off BlackBerry Radio
Step 2. Open BBM Conversation with target.
Step 3. Send desired amount of PINGS!!! (I usually do about 200)
Step 4. Turn Radio Back On

Sit back, relax and enjoy.
