I've been using BBAlerts for awhile now, and have been quite happy with it. However, I recently added a second e-mail account to my Curve, and for some reason, the LED settings have stopped responding. They still work for voicemail and text messages, but not for e-mail. (The LED is supposed to be purple, but instead has reverted to the red light that stops blinking after a few minutes.)

I double checked my settings, and they haven't changed. Is it just not possible to use BBAlerts when you have two e-mail addresses on the device?

Strange. I too have been using BBAlerts for a long time, and I have SIX email addresses set up on my berry. It works fine for me...
