Lots of interesting speculation here

Is there a post on how to upgrade the OS if you don't have a computer (PC) or access to one?

Angry 8120 died PC crash during upgrade !!!!!

Hello all,
I thought it might be a good idea to upgrade to the latest orange OS however during the process my computer crashed completely with no way of getting it responding a hard reboot was the only option!

The upgrade screen had got about half way through the list of ticks ( I think to just before reinitialisation Java section maybe?)

Now I have a dead 8120 with no idea how to recover it, any ideas if this is at all possible.

Many thanks in anticipation

You should be able to get the application loader to recognize the device and reload the OS. I've got out of similar situations before. While you're at it, you might as well load the latest OS: 8120 v4.3.0.190

Question Have any of you tried this successfully (.178 or .190) on at ATT 8120 yet?

ATT is still on .91 and the wifi is for @#$%$.

But I'm not adventurous enough to try it unless I know it actually works. If I brick my wife's phone I am never going to hear the end of it.

Thanks for any help.
