Hi All,

i facing some weird issues with blackberry.Is there any relation with MX records for blackberry to operate. I hope most of the black berry administrator aware of Exchange servers and MX record entries. Let me illustrate the problem which i am facing.

~i have two exchange servers and two blackberry servers(BES)
~BES1 installed on first exchange server and BES2 installed on 2nd exchange servers.
~i have registered these two exchange server entries with my service provider.Out of nslookup command


careermakers.in MX preference = 1, mail exchanger = smtp.careermakers.in
careermakers.in MX preference = 1, mail exchanger = mail.careermakers.in

smtp.careermakers.in internet address = 221.134.125.11
mail.careermakers.in internet address = 221.134.125.12

~ when preference was 1 and 2 ,then i was able to register my id in the carier provider website,hence i was able to access users those are existed on only mail.careermakers.in(i.e.on first bes).but i was not able to register users in my carier provider website(i have vodafone connection for bes)

~Today i changed my preference to 1&1,now i am not able to register none of the users.



my question "Is there any relation with MX records for BES to operate?"
if more than one exchange servers are in your network.What is the preference do we need to have for BES to work properly?
