Default 8700 help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all
i am struggling with a email problem
all emails i have received on my blackberry i would like to move/copy them to MS outlook inbox
what is the easiest to do this?
i have installed desktop manager on my Pc but there does not seem to be a option on that program to send all mail to the pc inbox only to reconcile the mail
i am connect vis usb also
any help would be appreciated

hmmm, have you checked your manual or searched this board, like maybe SYNCHING your BB to your outlook? no move or copy, synch.

It works for me.

You can't sync your inbox if you're on a BIS, unlike with a Windows Mobile device.

For your sent emails, you may want to check on your web server, if you have a web-based access to your emails. I noted that it leaves a copy of my sent emails in the sent folder on my webmail. To retreive them I simply login into my webmail and move all my emails in my inbox, then hit send-receive in Outlook and they all come in. I finally move them in my sent folder in Outlook.

Why not set up Outlook to pull the email in directly?

Hmmm I don't know how to do that, there might be a way...

You can stop Outlook from removing emails it retrieves - it's in the SMTP setup. Don't know if it will retrieve emails sent from the BB or Web site.
