Default Red LED light not working?

Please Login to Remove!

That little red flashing light does not flash when I get a text anymore, but its turned on in my settings, could it be burnt out?

Have you pulled the battery out, waited 30 seconds and slapped it back in?

Also when you slap the battery back in. You're supposed to see the Red LED light.

Hey zoozu did you get this sorted? Mine's doing exactly the same thing. When I remove and replace the battery the red light does come on, so I know it's not burnt out. All the settings are for the light to flash for email notification and that's just what was happening until yesterday, now it doesn't work any more. Can't figure out what's changed?

It should work after you did the battery pull. Did you take the battery out for 30 seconds?

I had the same problem. Check in the Clock and see if you're still in Bedside Mode. If so, Menu->Exit Bedside Mode

Genius! That was it. I was xploring the bedside mode earlier in the week an must have left it on. God, that was driving me crazy. To all who suggested the cure, please bask in the warm inner glow of a job well done and accept my profound gratitude.

If it's not the Clock in bedside mode, did you do a battery pull? If so, and you're still having issues, check your Profiles and make sure the Repeat Notification setting is set to LED Flashing for the appropriate Profile.

Thanks. I found the solution! It was in message alerts. The Bold 9700 has an option to have the LED light up or not with messages and it was set to off as the default. Go figure!!
