hii am new with my blackberry pearl, i have 8110
smartphone (edge) v 4.3.0.83
platform 2.6.0.47
, i am trying to install themes on my phone via application loader but it shows 'no additional applications designed for your device were found", i have tried all sort but in vain , i have dm latest, but cant find device software that is 4.3 for my 8110 any where , can 8130, os work with it ? some one please help

I don't see that OS out yet either, not listed on the Airtel page. But I am looking around. Often there is a period of time between the device's release and when the OS is avilable for download... during which you are just simply out of luck.

And, no, you cannot use another model OS (8100, 8120, 8130) on the 8110. Unless you want to brick it.

is there a way to copy from the device one file? using the java loader? that would be a way. (NOT SURE IF THIS IS POSSIBLE)

There is no OS released for download yet for the 8110.

so what am i to do right now just wait and watch for the release? is there any possible solution to retrive my phone , menu icons have dissappeared from my phone only profile icon and application icons are available, i can make and recieve calls . any possible way?

Call your carrier and ask.. perhaps that might help. Otherwise it is not available yet.

my problem solved , i restored the backup file i had on my pc via DM , and all my icons came back, thanks GOD, or else i dont know how long would i have to wait
