i have a 8300 working fine but cannot find the video recording icon any where , in camera option also there is no video camera option ,
BB-8300
V4.2.2.129
platform(2.4.0.60),
will upgrading solve my problem? , i have already downloaded the latest OS for 8300.

I do not think this ever existed running the 4.2.blah.blah software.

video recording should be at os 4.3/4.5
4.2xxx hasn't got video recording. you can only make photos

video recording will not be available for your device until the official release of device software version 4.5 (hopefully, it'll be soon)

The 8130 does...
Again it is a feature that came out with OS 4.3.x, and unless you are running 4.3.x or a beta 4.5.x you will not have video recording.
