i'm in Canada, the results are definitely working (although some obvious yellow pages ones never do - don't think its B411 issue though)

make sure for your address you have the city as Toronto, ON without a postal code

I noticed the beta link (/beta/berry411.jad) and the main link (/b411.jad) both lead to version 4.12 but they are different size files (kb). are they supposed to be?

I happened to land on the first post of this thread which take you the beta site. did not know it was released. then i went to the main page and noticed the discrepancy mentioned earlier. 2 files with same versions but different sizes

Have 8300 Curve on Rogers network running 4.2
and Beyond 411 version 4.20.3
No BES

I have configured:

Options>Advanced>TCP to internet.com and confirmed with Rogers that it is configured correctly on the backend.

HELP!!!

1) what is the right network connection setting

Direct connect or default

2) has anyone been able to make Yellowpages work

When I have it on default I get http error response code 500

When I have it on direct I get http error response code 500

Any advise would be great

i don't know if its just me but with the latest 4.2 i get max connection errors and if i click the wheel and search the yellow page again it works.. dont know if its a bug or not but i dont have any other applications open.. 8700c

I thought it was me until I changed my Postal Code to a Zip 14210 and realised to works like a charm.

I cant get the gps to work correctly when i have it on direct it just keeps saying loading and when I change it to basic the searches turn up no where near my location. help please

also in the other thread i posted that i noticed with this 4.20.3 version if you click on the search history filed and its empty it will give you a Java null error and kick you out to the main screen... strange b/c it didnt do this with the old versions

This is apparently a bug on some versions of the Blackberry OS. (If you Google "max connections open blackberry" you'll see numerous instances with various apps.)

Am exploring a code workaround but in the meantime a soft reboot or waiting eliminates the error.

Hi Phil,

First let me say that your software is a must have. I think it was the first item I downloaded when I switched over to the Blackberry platform. I just upgraded to latest release and I get an error that says "Bad DNS". I just deleted that version and went back to version 4.12 and everything works great again.

I'm using a BB 8703e on 4.1 OS.

Any advice would be much appreciated and thank you for a great app.
