I really like the vertical leather case, just emailed them to see if it will work with a 7100i.

So what do you think about this case now that you've had it a while? It looks like the best replacement for the OEM belt-eater.

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7100i/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.16)

This is a great case! It was tight at first but has loosened up greatly. But only gripe and I mean ONLY is the non locking swivel clip, its metal so it just moves all around, would be nice if it where like my old 7520 case with teeth to lock it horizontilly. pink

Can anyone explain what they mean by "magnetic snap"? Do you need to put pressure to snap it? It looks like if you had to apply any pressure, it would be right against the screen? I hope it clicks automatically and thats what "magnetic snap" means?

Can anyone advise? I am interested in the last model for the 7100i, verical.

Regards

It would mean that instead of a velcro strap, it would be a magnetic button. I have it on my 7100g case that I use for my 7100i.

So hardly any pressure will secure it or is it like a button on a jacket?

For those looking for an OEM case for the 7130e, http://shopblackberry.com will have a leather swivel holster available again on 12/11/05. It also features a flip over fastener that magnetically locks the device into place.

Looks like a good carrying case option.

Someone please design and build a case for the 7100v - you'd totally clean up because nobody else has bothered. They sell BlackBerry in the UK too you know!!!!

GoblueNextel: it takes no pressure to close, basically if its a quarter of an inch from the base magnet it will snap itself shut. Magntic cases are much better since velvep wears out. Also they now are taking pre orders on a actual 7100i vertical case, so you don't have to get the 7100g case like me. pink

Yes it does, however on the verical cases it does not since you just pull it out of the case.
