Default how to protect the ports from damage

Please Login to Remove!

Hi I have a bb curve 9100.
I have purchased a case to protect it but, of course, the case has 2 holes in line with the 2 ports of the phone (audio and usb).

Is there anything I could buy to be able to open/close those 2 ports (audio and usb) when I don't use them? as I need to use the phone when I am on sandy beaches, I have happened to ruin other phones because of dust/sand entering the plugs and damaging the hardware.

cheers

A quick google search for micro usb dust cover and headset jack dust cover reveals lots of hits for those items.

Thanks, now I know what to look for.
I checked the internet and I noticed that it looks like each plug is specific of a phone model.
That doesn't square to me.
I have a blackberry pearl 9100: shouldn't a micro-usb be identical for all the phones no matter their model?

Thanks and happy new year

The port is, but not the metal or plastic surrounding it. If it's that much of a concern, just put some tape over it.

No they don't.
