Question WeatherEye Temperature Display Issue

Please Login to Remove!

It displays one temperature on the home screen and then a totally different one when you enter the program. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it; still get the same thing. Anyone else experiencing this or know what the issue is?

I've noticed this in the past as well. I deleted, rebooted, then reinstalled the app. This, luckily, resolved it for me.
How often did you set the app to poll for updates? Mine is set to 30 minutes. If you set it longer, its possible that temperature changes occur in the interim. When you go into the app, its actually pulling data over the internet.

I have mine set to every 30 minutes as well. It just doesn't work right for me. I have good signal so that can't be it.

I solved my problems by switching to accuweather.com wap push for BB. Better info I think. Delete weather eye first or it might not load.

Is accuweather a free app and does it also have a home screen icon like WeatherEye? They don't offer much info on their site.

I think this has something to do with the way the > OS 4.6 icons are animated in the precision or other themes. I've noticed if you jump to the main list of icons it has updated just fine, but if left alone the primary screen will not update properly. Once you have highlighted it on the icon screen, it updates the primary screen.

I have observed it on an 8220, as well as my 9000.

^ You're right, it does update after selecting in on the icon screen. I don't know if it's the OS or the app though. This kind of renders the home icon somewhat useless IMO.
