You guys realize that its Desktop Manager for Mac 2.0; not v6.0 which is for Windows.

yes you can upgrade or downgrade the firmware for your BB using Mac Desktop Manager - but ONLY for firmwares already available officially from your provider that are only in ".bbb" format (which is only for Desktop Manager).
