Another Question please HELP

Im not sure if my blackberry world did something crazy while in my pocket but now it will not retain any information in the sms of call log folder... if that makes sense... every time someone texts me the message will stay in my phone just long enough for me to see it once... if that... then it automatically deletes it... also call log messages don't even stick around long enough for me to see who called... Maybe this is a simple fix... I hope it is but I just can't figure it out can anyone help?
