I installed the WeatherEye application a while back, but shortly removed it because it was never updating.

I removed the software via the Desktop Manager, and removed the browser channel it created. This should have completely removed the application and icon from the main screen.

It hasn't however. It keeps showing up daily, so I delete the channel once again, clear the browser cache, and look under Options>Applications and nothing is listed here.

When I connect it to my desktop to sync, the application doesn't show up in the programs list, so I am kind of stuck as to why this keeps coming back. I have tried numerous battery pulls to no avail.

I even tried re-adding the application and then removing it again, but even that has failed. Anyone know what I can do next beside completely wipe the device and start over?

I am using OS 5.0.0.1004/5.0.0.592 if that helps anything. Other than Blackberry World, there is nothing else added to the device.

did u delete the weather channel from the weather setup??

Nope. Never tried that. Why would that matter if the application is completely removed?

i just thinking if that weather icon is come from the built-in weather service,

the one you set-up in the weather setup.
