I downloaded and installed the official TMO release of 4.5 to my Curve and I am getting the following error when I try to update myFaves:

Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointer Exception

When I was using earlier versions of 4.5 from other carriers, I had the same issue and just attributed it to the fact that it wasn't the official TMO release. Now that the TMO release is official, same issue.

When I first installed the OS after a wipe with JL_CMDER, it worked fine. Installed Viigo and it worked fine. Updated Docs to Go, worked fine. Activated on my BES and boom - it stops working.

Any ideas what is causing this problem when activated on the BES? Could there be a data file that is corrupt (all of my settings (ringtone settings, Owner info, etc.) are restored when I activate on the BES, so maybe something old is causing it)? MyFaves on 4.2 worked fine on the BES without issue.

Looks like a BES firewall issue. RIM is looking into it.

Same problem but BIS. Was on the phone for 2 1/2 hrs last night with RIM but not resolved. I got a case number but will be on the road until Sunday night. Hope to see a quick resolve online.
