Default wifi surfing

hi guys... i would like to ask if how can i surf the net and use the social networking apps by only using wifi and not enabling the the data services on my bb 9360? because in the past i do have a bb curve 8520 and i can surf the net by using wifi only without data from my provider by unchecking the VPN in the settings... thanks

im sorry guys its not VPN.. i think its TCP/IP in advanced settings that i unchecked on my bb 8520... thanks

You cannot do that. You need a full BlackBerry Data Plan if you want to "surf the net" on your BlackBerry.

@motorcycle mama - thank you sir... by the way, what i really mean is that... i want to use the facebook apps by using only wifi.... so that i will not be charge by the network provider.. is it possible on my bb curve 9360? because i had it before on my bb curve 8520 by unchecking the TCP/IP... i didnot receive any charges... thanks

You canNOT do that now. You need a BlackBerry Data Plan. Once you have that, then you can use Facebook on WiFi.
