ok i have the desktop software installed and it works fine, i can use my pearl as a removable drive and all that. When i connect it up to the computer i get that little usb symbol next to the battery symbol but it doesn't seem to charge up. I let it sit there for like 20 minutes and it like didn't go up any percent at all. Then i put it on a phone charger and it goes up. Am i doing something wrong?

Make sure it is a main rear USB port on the PC. Not a USB hub, monitor port or front USB port.

seriously? why can't it be any front ports? When i tried it last it was on my laptop, it just has 2 ports on each side :/

Your laptop is different than the PC. The front PC USB ports are not fully powered USB ports. Do as recommended.

I've personally experienced the same thing with a retractable USB cable. I switched to a normal USB cable and it charged fine. So it could be your cable.

same problem,I purchased a new USB cable and it worked as advertised!
