Default Tmobile user here... is there anyway I can get another contract like this.. anywhere?

Please Login to Remove!

I've been with T-mobile for 2 years now, and had originally signed a 1 year contract with my Blackberry Pearl. I pay 40$ for 600 anytime minutes. 15$ for unlimited messaging, and 20$ for unlimited blackberry.

My monthly total is $75.00

I rarely go over my 600 minutes, so the total doesn't need to be any higher. I've been wanting to upgrade from my curve since I saw the Bold and Storm. The Javelin is coming out and I would LOVE to upgrade now as I see I can do.

The only problem is I'm having trouble finding a plan anywhere that's comparable to what I have now for near the price.

Does anyone know how i can renew while paying somewhere near the same price for unlimited messaging/blackberry and at least 600 minutes?

When I upgraded to my curve I just bought one used bc I didn't want to upgrade then.

Are the current blackberry unlimited plans including text mssging? If so I could just get the same thing for 80 bucks a month and upgrade, which I'm more than willing to do.

Ideas? Answers? Thanks in advance guys.

I've heard that the BB plans on Tmo include ~300 texts per month... I'm using 20 times that on a monthly basis... seriously. I know I need to stop being such a 15 year old girl haha

I had the TMOB BB Minutes and Mail which was really well priced for 1000 minutes and Unlimited text and data at $70 9dont think its available anymore though), but I just recently got my girl a BB and we changed out to the Family Share with 1000 shared minutes plus the data plan $25 (x 2 = $50) for 400 text and 400 mms msgs and unlimited data for each of us. Well worth it in my opinion if you need email like I do. We also typically use BB Messenger when texting each other to save ourselves from going over the 400 text msg limit as well. I dont think the plans include messaging anymore unfortunately. From what I recall there was an upgrade data/msg plan for either $25 for 400 text 400 mms and unltmd data, or $35 for 600 msg/mms and unltd data.

I'm not really too good with the terminology with contracts.

The plan you mentioned is basically unlimited web and messaging (im, text, bbmsgr) along with unlimited email for 35/ month?

The 600 mins plan is still 40 dollars, so it'd be the same plan I have now basically?

Upgrading your phone should make no changes to your monthly plan, when I ordered as an upgrade I made no changes to my plan and they sent out a new device without a SIM card with it. Pop in your old sim and away you go, no plan changes needed.

What punkarella was saying is to remove the $15 text plan, and the $20 blackberry plan and replace them with the $35 blackberry plan that includes unlimited text messages.

You don't need to make any changes to your plan to upgrade your phone. You can keep your current plan until you decide to change it. Order your 8900 (Javelin) upgrade and enjoy. You will get the choice of a one year or two year contract for the phone upgrade but that will not affect your voice or data plan.

Yup, that is true. I have had T-Mobile for several years and have never adjusted my plan when upgrading a phone.

No need to change plans when upgrading. I still have the 3000 anytime minutes for $49.99 plan from like 6 years ago. I will never give up that plan!

Yeah...I recently upgraded to the 8900. I renewed on a year contract.

All I added was the $35 bb unlimited plan to my 1000 minute, unlimited nights & weekend plan of $39.99.

Got my 1000 minutes, unlimited data and text for $59.99 in 2004 with my 7100. Upgraded to Pearl and soon to 8900 with same plan, can't touch that now.
