I just called 611 and the rep told me it's not in the system yet. Told me to call back in the afternoon. Foiled again!

Just picked mine up at the T-Mobile store on K Street in DC. It is really beautiful. I read all the reviews, but thought they must have been exaggerating. They were not. It is a top notch upgrade!

The customer service rep told me that the store had only two units left on hand, but were supposed to be getting a new shipment this afternoon as well.

Thanks for the heads up. Just called again and got my order in. Now comes the hard part: waiting!

Tampa Bay T-Mobile stores are sold out. Standalone stores got 10 phones, mall stores got 5. Just got the last one at Westshore Plaza. Their phone was ringing off the hook with calls from other stores that had already sold out.

i ordered this morning. i was out of contract and was offered:
2 year ext. $149.99 includes instant rebate.
1 year ext $249.99

i took the 1 year and am going to submit $100 rebate which would bring my total to $149.99 for a 1 year ext.

plus, i got myFavs added for free.

There is no way I'm paying $429 (minus $70 rebate) for the 8900, such a bummer. I called tmo and they said I'm only eligible for a partial upgrade and I have to wait five more months to get the full discount.

Did any of you guys experience this? What did you guys do?

Last time I upgraded was in September of 2007 when the 8320 came out.

I picked mine up at a local corporate store for $299 - $100 MIR = $199 with 2 year extension. The manager there said they received 5 devices today, and I was purchasing the second at 11am. I was 22 months in my 2 year contract, so I got full upgrade pricing.

I also took advantage of the installment plan simply because it's interest free.

Nice deal, I had to pay 349 and the rebate took me down to 249 with 1 yr contract.

I ordered Fri. morning. mailed Monday (from KY) about 12mn. Arrived Prescott, AZ 3pm yesterday. Pretty fast shipping. Price $199 with MIR. I was due for upgrade with 2 year deal. So far so good, and the pouch isn't as bad as advertised IMO (have another one coming via mail). Screen is great. Haven't done the GPS yet, nor hooked the BT to my car. I likey.

Me too and I am loving this phone (received mine a few days ago). I walked to a local T-Mobile store here in Philly to see if they had them and the CSR said their computer pricing was screwed up so they delayed selling them at that store...

I was 1 year into a two year contract so i still had a year left. I called and they gave me the 8900 for $179.99 (instant Rebate) split into 4 payments with 2 year renewall. So i am happy!
