Your out of luck if you can't get on the BES.

Or setup forwarder from your work email to a personal account on your blackberry.

I say don't worry about it. If they won't let you on the BES, then they don't want you to read/respond to email when outside the office.

Our company lets any user on the BES. We figure if they want to work more (salaried employees anyway), that only helps us.

If they've published IMAP or POP protocols, you can use BIS to connect to that. Or set up a rule to forward a copy to your blackberry.net or gmail address. Otherwise I'd skip it and not give them the free overtime work out of the office. ;)

The redirector (installed on a workstation) really blows. I would skip that. It's not worth the hassle IMO.

they probably dont want to pay for or use a license for someone that isn't upper management. Our company has to have approvals for each account before I can add them.

The only way to do it is to setup a rule to forward your email to your bb account, or some other account if they'll allow it. We don't allow that either at work due to confidentiality.

We are the same on both points, snr mgmt sign off for the BB and no forwarding to personal accounts for anyone.
