Default IM+ Question

Please Login to Remove!

Hello I have a question that i could not seem to find anywhere about IM+ All-in-One Messenger. I currently have it installed on my 8100 but I just purchased a 8800 and was wondering if I can just copy it from the pearl to the 8800 without having to purchase a new activation. im sorry of this is a dumb question but i am defiantly a newb in the whole blackberry scene. Thank you in advance for any information you have.

If you use the Swtich Device Wizard in Desktop Manager it might move the registration over with the application.

You dont have to repurchase. Go to their website and there is a page/link that allows you to transfer the license.

I believe you need a license per device. If you reset the license and then activate it on the 8800, the 8100 won't work, just like you usually need to buy 2 copies of software for 2 different PC's. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
