Question Shazam for BB?

Please Login to Remove!

I was wondering if there was anything like Shazam for Blackberries? Shazam is a program avail on the Iphone that recognizes what music is playing around you then links you to Itunes to purchase the song....I am just looking for song recognition....Thx

You might want to try this if you have AT&T: AT&T - Music is a place to find all your mobile music needs.

Unfortunately, Shazam isn't compatible with BB's...at least not my curve. :(

It's not the same thing, but there's a free app out there called Radio Companion where you can enter in your favorite radio stations and it will show you their current playlists. So, if you hear a song on the radio, you can look it up pretty quickly.

Man, my friend and I were debating which was better - Iphone or Blackberry. My argument was that the BB could do everything that the Ipod could do, then he showed me shazam. Damn, what a cool ass application - I had no comeback.

Why don't we have something like this on BB???

For those who don't now, check out the review here:

Where did you get that information from? According to the shazam site it is only available for the iPhone and Android:

In the UK if you call 2580 (IIRC) from your phone and hold it up to the music Shazam will text you back with the track.

Waiting on this one too. Tired of hearing about how "my iPhone is better" from my bro...just because of this one app.

This just points to the reason the iPhone is popular... multimedia. You can't compare the BB to the iPhone with respect to multimedia because the iPhone wins hands-down. Now you didn't get a BB for it's multimedia capabilities did you? No, you got it because it's a great messaging device. Just get one of each

Actually, that's why I bought the storm. I want both messaging and multimedia. The storm definitely has the potential from the things I have seen thus far.

Default Shazam Berry

For the love of technology! Can someone contact Steve Demeter (iPhone Trism creator) to request development of this application for all the Berry heads who would find this so resourceful??!
