Default 8520 SMS Problems

Please Login to Remove!

I just recently bought the Curve 8520 and it worked great up until the other day. Everytime I recieve a text message, I can see the little indicator at the top of the screen with the red star, but when I go to the SMS/MMS inbox, there is nothing new in there. I've found the only way to find the new messages are to go to Options within the inbox and select Search and type in the persons name. This isn't THAT big of a problem, but I text a lot so it's very aggravating. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

David

Are you sure that it is a text and not a BBM message?

If so, have you tried a battery pull recently?

Remember that the first step in any BB troubleshooting sequence is a battery pull. That will generally solve most of the problems you will have.
