Hi guys

I have setup my Pearl to receive my Gmail messages on my handset. That's cool and works fine.

The problem is when I send any message from my gmail account via my Pearl, it also sends the Sent message to my handset. This is soooo irritating.

Now I know the handset just downloads everything from Gmail so I have setup a filter on my Pearl to not forward messages sent from my email address to my handset, but it doesn't work!

Please help!

Is there anyway to stop the sent messages delivering to my handset?

P.S Also, although I have changed my POP settings in Gmail to archive any forwarded messages, the messages still stay in my Inbox as unread. Anyone else experience this? Thanks again!

While I'm at it and have your attention , do you know why my emails in Gmail will still stay unread, although I have changed the setting in Gmail to archive any forwarded messages....

I'm going to search through the threads in a moment, but thought you might know off the top of your head.

I must be the only one but I just skip it or delete it and it doesnt bother me at all.

Same here, not a big deal to me. I actually like it, because it allows me to forward the message later on if I want to. Pretty useful IMO
