To have 2 separate contact lists? My method for dealing with spammers is not exactly polite, and to have all the cuss words showing on the main contact list is something I would like to get rid of. I've got the manual and it says nothing.

If you sync over from a Palm handheld, what do you get? Contacts, notes?
I wouldn't want Planetarium, Docs to Go, or Astromist trying to go over the sync.

What do you clean the phone with? Can you use stuff made for LCD monitors?

I don't use BES. Have no need for it. I travel with a laptop and get free wifi.
There is no cellphone made that will handle PhotoShop. I bought the phone for the organizer and UMA. I like the way the phone handles input.

I saw the question about what would you suggest RIM do? They should see if they could get the old PALM os not the new one in the Pixie and Pre. That hotsync was a dream to handle.

Use filters.
Put one set under one filter, the spammers under another.
then when in the main contacts windows, you can have it show just the "personal" filter, not the spammers as well.

I thought that was possible, but I can't figure out how to set up 2 lists. All I can find is Personal and Business. Do I have to re-enter everything as I see no way to add the contacts by browsing. And how do you switch from on list to another on the fly?
The manual isn't very forthcoming on doing this.

Im not titally sure on this, as I dont have a blackberry anymore, but its something like this.
contacts - menu - filters.
you check the one you want it and will show it, and remain showing only those under that filter, until you uncheck it.

To create a filter, I think you edit a contact, and its the field category and you may then be able to create a new one.
