Wirelessly posted (8320 Curve)

So I was reading my trusted BBcool feeds on my BBF viigo when I saw an interesting feed today.

Iphone and bold head to head. They put the iphone better than the berry on the apps, but the bold killing it with better builds and features. Its pretty interesting....

That article is the best comparison I have read. It sums them up perfectly. In the end I will probably carry both or swap back and forth. The only thing that bothers me is they say the Curve has better build quality then the Bold. I think the Curve has pretty bad build quality. I have about 5 here at my desk and the rubber is peeling on some, ball turn yellow, plastic squeking etc. I had to put little pieces of paper in some of the cracks to stop the squeaking. The Iphone looks like something that should be in a museum.

Thanks for the link........as always I think that the variances and/or features and benefits of any device vs. the user's requirements is what ultimately determines which option is best........

BB applications - especially end-user applications - significantly outnumber iPhone applications - as do the user populations.

My pal Larry Magid's article in the San Jose Mercury News is one of the best round-ups on the subject so far, but there's a lot more coverage coming.

And I just set Larry up to get a small avalanche of very cool BlackBerry applications so he can get an even better sense of it.

I'm sure RIM could pony up the hype wagon to the extent Apple does if they, too, were to charge each user an extra $10/month - personally, I find more cool new third-party BB goodies every week than any Apple owner would ever guess - which is one of the biggest reasons I'm here.
