How do you know. Don't just spit out a date without giving a reference.
Thank you.

Dates, dates, dates all I want is a date. I get all the marketing garbage etc, but really its not exactly trade secrets anymore so why not just release a date. Everyone things RIM is the one scared, but in reality its Jobs/Apple who are scared. iPhone sales tanked last quarter and RIM has a higher % over all. Sure apple will spur on but so will RIM. Apple priced the iPhone with Carrier subsidy so in other words AT&T and other carriers prepay Apple so they can set the bar lower. Apple still makes up all that money and the carrier is the one waiting to get paid over time.

So if I just bought an iPhone say 1 month ago on a 2 year contract and I want the 3G phone I have to sign a 2 year extension so I am not up to 3 year 11 months or is it still just 2 years.

Will be 2 years from renewal date. Not two years added to the existing 2 years.

Nope it is not added, thank God!

Your new contract supercedes your previous contract. So 2 years max

If it didn't overwrite the previous contract with how often I upgrade. I would be locked into 2078 by now!

I am so used to paying full price for my devices, I can not believe but my contract actually runs out in a couple of months. I would not ask but I think with only a couple of months left they can do a new 2 years contract.

anywhere from 6 months left and after it is in some cases possible to upgrade depending on the market you are in
