Default BES 4.0 Release Date?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone...

Does anyone know or have an idea for the tentative release of BES 4.0? I've resisted purchasing BES for our company for a few months now so that we could go straight to 4.0 cleanly (rather than do any upgrades) but I haven't heard much from the RIM camp so I'm starting to get curious.

Any and all info would be appreciated!

public beta testing of BES 4.0 should be available in the next week or two though... i would expect it before year's end or early next year, however. given the seminars for it in the next few months, public beta testing, etc... its likely on its last leg before going gold.

Besides, I've read that it's fairly easy to swap out your 3.7 for the 4.0 when it does come out.

It was more the fact that I didn't want to have to buy the software maintenance right away to get the upgrade.

Call me cheap but BES isn't exactly free for a small business

Unless you call your carrier's Data Pod Support Group and then they call RIM on your behalf.
