Default Problems with AIM

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded AIM for Blackberry a few days ago and it was working fine on my Verizon Pearl 8130. Today, it is not auto refreshing so I am not getting my messages automatically without hitting refresh group or refresh list. Yahoo Messenger works fine still - all messages are received right away. Is there any setting that I might have messed up. I removed AIM and re-installed it again tonight, but it is still not giving me instant messages. I can send messages instantly but when someone sends me a message, I don't receive it until I hit refresh from the main menu.

Moved to new thread. Please be careful not to post in a topic that has nothing to do with your issue. Thanks

Mine has been doing the same thing since yesterday afternoon. I deleted the application and re-downloaded it and restarted my phone and nothing. If anyone figures it out please please let me know.

My guess is the RIM server(s) that interfaces AIM is not getting traffic updates. Wonder if AT&T or TMO users are seeing the same problem?

Default Still Not Working

I emailed AIM tech support to see if they are working on the problem. Anyone's issues resolved yet? webmessenger, a trillian like program for blackberry still works with AIM and you can receive instant messages but AIM is still not sending messages without hitting the refresh list or group option.

Aye, just got my curve the other day and downloaded AIM yesterday and noticed the problem. Seems that it's not fixed yet.

I just tried to download the latest version over OTA and the COD from RIM is faulty. Wonderful.
