Most definitely. Took a vacation last week that put me out range of service. It was so nice!

In the literal sense, yes, figuratively, I wouldn't want to have to find a replacement for my BB.

Okay, you forgot to say that you continue to play the "Doors Greatest Hits" over and over and over and over again when you're strange.

Thumbs up Live without my BB?

Thats crazy talk! Walking out the door without my BB is like walking out without my car keys! If anything I keep adding to it..if I could force my lipstick into the keyboard I'd be set! jk. I did go to a site recently just to try out a couple trial apps..I'd be interested to see if anyone has heard of or already loaded anything from this company called ConvergeWireless- looks like they're out of Canada, but they appear to be building apps. for Blackberry's..the MyMileageGenie works well...would be interested to hear about their "Forms" product if any of you have tried it. If anyone has an app they cant live without, pass it on!..Like never ending tetris .etc.

But seriously, not having my blackberry is not an option!

I take several camping trips each summer that put me out of range as well. I still bring my Berry with me to listen to music, take pics and play games.

Yeah, I guess I'm hooked...

I just went the last 96 hours (four days) with no BlackBerry data or carrier signal due to my extreme remote location at a Montana ranch/resort.

While it was by force of no signal, rather than choice, it was not all bad afterall. Had a great time with the family and some relaxing for me. I did keep my BB with me for pictures, etc., but I did survive.
