Default Zen Theme Application Icon - Black window

Please Login to Remove!

I am using Zen Theme on 8700c, if I move some of the third party applications move to the Top Five position, all it shows is a black dos like window. Anyway we can change this?

Thanks!

Not with the T-Mo/Bharti version. If you install the Telstra version it will accept third party icons.

I am not using Barti, and why do I need Telstra? I need to figure out what Telstra is.

Bharti and T-Mo are basically the same OS, including Zen. Neither of them allow the third party icons to properly appear, instead they replace them with the generic DOS-like icon. Recently, a newer OS was released by Telstra, with a few small adjustments to the Zen theme. One of those adjustments was the ability to properly show third party icons on the home screen. But, some members have reported an increase in battery drainage with the Telstra OS, and have reverted back to T-Mo/Bharti, myself included. So, your choices are to either stay the way you are and just live with the icon issue, or switch to Telstra and do your own testing on the battery drain issue. If you choose the latter, then go to the link in my signature and follow the instructions precisely for the Telstra upgrade.

Hmm. What version are you running w/ Rogers?

BTW, is it possible to just snag the .cod file from the Telestra OS and use it on the Bharti/T-Mo? I'm sure some decompression will be involved. Who's up to the task?
