Hi guys,

I cannot update my Blackberry, it reads "update available" but I can't do anything to update the device, any ideas?

Also my device is very slow and it seems always to be on load.

What/where does it read "update available"?

Are you on a BES or a BIS?

use a laptop to update.
1. download the update file
2. install on your computer
3. connect your BB to your computer
4. go to C://Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Apploader
5. Delete the file "Vendor.xml"
6. Double-click on the file loader.exe
7. Follow instructions.

Upgrade OS once only. Disregard any notice for OS upgrade as it maybe incompatible with your unit.

Do not upgrade apps like fb, twitter, ym, or any other IMs. Do not upgrade BBM.

Upgrade only BB Protect and BB Appworld.
