Funny. I bought the same case-mate "CF" back over... first off they should make it clear that it is not real CF. 2nd, it fit like absolute crap. Loose, squeaks, rocking.. AND the fake cf cover is coming up on all sides. I got a RMA number, but im not even going to send it back just to get another one that doesnt fit.... ill wait till someone else makes a better product. After reading this thread, and reading online i am not alone.

Thanks Shaun. The sad part is they have the potential for a great product. I havent talked to anyone that did not like what they see. But than it doesnt fit and they want you to pay for their mistake. I think we all know crap happens but when it does fix it and make things right. What a shame.

Another update. I received a refund for one backing today $19.99. Misty G claims there was only one in the package. I explained how they were packed and the material used. She did not respond after that so I guess I have gotten the official Shaft. I really wanted replacements that worked but I guess they dont have any. Well I guess half my money is better than 00.00. Highly dissappointed and if they dont respond by tomorrow I will let everyone know just how they operate. Shaun I think its time for the news........

A new update. Misty G which I am sure is her rap name has said I only sent them one. You talk about the worst customer service ever with a company this is it. I even described how careful step by step how I packed them together with stryfoam and well she basicly called me a liar. So they may have taken 19.99 from me but I will make sure the word gets around and at least I will save a few folks from a horrible company.

The worst thing in the world for a company these days is to get a bunch of people online pissed off. It could potentially ruin their business completely. They should just eat the cost of shipping and send refunds if the product is no good. If they have an updated product then send it off after receiving the returns. This other thing about them only receiving one product when two were returned is just a mystery. Somebody is lying and if it is the company they should fess up or else risk the end of their business if this gets out and wide spread online which I think is already happening. Seen it many times before they should do an abrupt about face and make good on everything immediately.

Thanks guys I agree with you both and I did recieve an email from them yesterday telling me that I am a valuable customer but their records show one received which I can swear on my mothers grave is NOT true. Anyway they said they were refunding 19.99. Now I emailed back and asked whether this is the second 19.99 to make me wole 39.98 or not. When I get the return I will post the emails from this little fiasco so you all may read. It is so frustrating because I really liked the look of these backs but they were just made like crap which they freely admit. I still think they should refund the shipping but at this point if I can get most back I guess I should be happy as the time dealing with them is crazy. I hope I am the only one having these issues but for some reason I dont think so.......I will keep updating.

Correct you are but here is another update.....They agreed to refund for the second one as I am "a valued customer" but refused to refund the shipping for a defective product. Had I not liked the color or material or the look I could see not refunding the shipping back BUT this was a case of defective manufacturing not looks. Well anyway I think this is the end of the road to my story. I will stay away from case-mate and am disappointed in the outcome. I would much prefered having my two well fitting battery covers for my Bold but instead have had a very long battle to get part of my money back. Even to the end being called a liar as far as sending back both and only given a refund because I am a valuable customer...........Well good night and do what you will with case-mate but you have my story.
