I've used to many different windows mobile phones and a few blackberries and even tried the IPhone. The blackberry is the best hardware wise and almost the best overall. I only wish the e-mail was better on the blackberry. Windows Mobile supports exchange much better and also supports IMAP and POP3 much better. Maybe eventually RIM will update the BIS to support e-mail better but until then I'm searching for my next WM device and I want to get rid of the BB.

But the downside is they do not support 2-way sync of e-mail accounts unless it's on a BES.

Yup, without BES, the BB is quite mediocre when it comes to email. No folder support, no exchange address or calendar support. I get better email/Exchange support with my iphone then I ever did with my BB on BIS.
