hi..
i jus recently downloaded facebook 1.8 for blackberry via blackberry app store.

it gt downloaded and whnever i put my user id and password in it, it gives an error {WE CANNOT REACH THE FACEBOOK SERVER AT THIS TIME. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER. (100)}

i use internet through a wifi connection and all of the applications working fine with the wifi connection. and i dont hav any push mail service on my blackberry.!

I had the same issue and from what I have read, you MUST have a BB Data Plan to connect to Facebook. Without the push services enabled, you cannot receive notifications through the application.

I have resorted to using Opera Mini and just loading the mobile site. Does everything I need it to.

bt i just wan tht wheneva i update the status from at facebook using BB...it shows UPDATED FROM BLACKBERRY i just wan this thing

Sounds like you don't have a BB data plan which is required for those RIM related apps to work.
