I would kindly suggest you drift over to the new members section and welcome some new members to boost your post count rather than doing what you are doing... seems you're going backwards in post count.

The rule is in place to prevent spammers from over running the site so that our Members can enjoy it. If you want to post just for the sake of getting to ten you should to the new members section, introduce yourself and welcome a few other folks!

ok... I really haven't got alot of time today and my question requires a picture... I understand the rule's purpose but it still sucks for me!

i own a huge architecture community, and have the same rule.
at least 10 posts before users can attacht documents to the replies.

I also have limited that guests cant download anything, and in order to download all the data available, you need to have at least 1 post.

Great way to keep away spammers, and leechers.
