ishore,

The Innocase II will be the easier of the two to remove, so it may be your choice if you need to take it off very often.

Thanks,

So it looks like the Innocase is the standard two-piece front/back case while the Innocase II is like a slip on similar to the silicone sleeves?

Looks that way, the II model is open at the top with no protection there, so the phone slips in that way. I bet you just gently bend the sides outward at the top and slip it out. I'm sure it's the same type plastic their other "rubberized" thin cases are made of. My Pearl unit wasn't very tacky like silicone is. No lint or problems getting in/out of pocket at all. As most of you know the 2 piece design's Achilles heel are the clips that hold it together. They wanna break if you take it on and off very much. They do look and fit great.

Great! I plan on getting the Innocase and the Innocase holster when they are available. I am also glad the Innocase will be available in other colors besides black. I am leaning towards the pink.

I definitely will look into them as I absolutely LOVED this case for my Curve. The biggest drawback that I see is what happened with my Curve, with this type of case no matter how you look at it your phone is exposed to lint, dust in your pockets, etc. Because this style case does not cover the face of the phone. This is why I have always leaned towards just the basic leather sleeve that puts the phone to sleep, no belt clip needed, and gets the job done.

I hear you. I love those pouches too. But many don't like taking it out every time you use it. Nothing protects the whole phone better though, and you don't need a screen protector either. No need for the sleep button, and your battery lasts longer for sure.

I'm kinda torn. I like how the Innocase I covers the top since the shiny plastic on top gets smudged so easily. But I also see your point about the fit of the two piece cases and the need to remove it in order to do a battery pull.

Get the II case if you take the phone out very often (to do a battery pull, take the Sd card out for instance). Taking the phone out of the 2 part case with clips can be a hassle and the clips can break. But this case obviously protects the top of the phone better. You choose.
