Default New official OS for storm

Please Login to Remove!

Does anybody know when verizon and RIM is releasing the new OS OTA for the storm?

Nope, no one knows if and when. They released the new .75 and .76 OS upgrades already, but Verizon in the past has been notoriously slow to release OS upgrades.

And no one knows for sure what release it will be.

u could download .85 which is beta but these forums dont allow links to beta OS so i guess just google it

78 is a legit version that's out. You COULD try that .

They have .76 legit for Verizon? I thought they had .75

.76 is legit from Bell. It can be installed on the 9530. Verizon still has .75.

Thanks .. Although I have to tell you that I have only had one issue with .85 and that is the random failure to unlock the device, other than that it has been perfect for me.

I don't see why you'd want to do OTA, it takes forever for the OS to actually download.

I have done OTA before, it only takes about 30 minutes from start to finish, not bad at all.
