Default Voicemail falling out of Speed Dial

Please Login to Remove!

is anyone having trouble with their 8130 dropping Voicemail out of the speed dial list?

i have had 2 replacements for various reasons so far...and each of the 3 8130s has dropped voicemail from the speed dial list randomly. Now when i hold "1" for voicemail it just says invalid number.

And yes i know how to add my telephone number to the speed dial list, but i want the "voicemail" back in there...i have auto dial password...and it doesnt work unless "voicemail" is in the list....

ok...well i talked to tech support and here is what they gave me, in case anyone else needs it

Resolution
Follow the steps below to set the Speed Dial List for Voice mail.

Create a temporary number in the Speed Dial List for entry 1 (Sure Type® technology keyboards) or W (Qwerty keyboards). To do this, follow these steps:

From the Home screen, press and hold either 1 or W.
When prompted, assign the temporary contact to that speed dial.

Once the contact is created, move it out of that entry by following these steps:

From the Phone application open the menu and choose View speed dial list.
Select the temporary contact that was created in step 1.
Open the menu and assign it to any other speed dial option.

Perform a hard reset on the BlackBerry smartphone by following these steps.

Remove the battery cover.
Remove and reinsert the battery to reset the BlackBerry smartphone.
Replace the battery cover.

Delete the temporary number from the Speed Dial List.

My 8100 dropped my speed dial today for no apparent reason. I did something similar to what you said - except I just added a phone number to the #1 slot in the speed dial list, then deleted it and pressed #1. Amazingly, it dialed speed dial. I didn't have to do a hard reset (although I had done that before trying to add a number to the #1 position).

Anyone know why it just randomly falls out of the speed dial list?

It might be one extra step, but I use "Call Voicemail" from the Blackberry menu. Click on the green call button, and when the call log appears, I hit the Blackberry key and then select "Call Voice Mail" from the menu.
