Default Stuck Missed Call Icon UGGHHHHH!!!

Please Login to Remove!

In case anybody was wondering.....you cannot fix the stuck missed call icon problem unless you have a windows computer. If you use a macintosh, like myself you are screwed. RIM tried real hard to find a solution. But were unsuccesful. They really should make an OTA download solution to fix this annoying problem.

My missed call icon problem disappeared when I upgraded to a newer OS.

Mine did not. This was a known bug. However, RIM had no resolution for this problem except to wipe the device - kind of an inconvenient solution. I was glad that an OS upgrade did solve the problem.

Wiping the device seem to be the only way. You installintg a new OS cause the device to wipe and install a new OS.

I had a 8300 that got a call right towards the end of a OS upgrade and could not get rid of the missed call indicator and *next to the phone icon. Had to reinstall again!
