I spoke with a buddy of mine that works at the verizon store in circuit city where I work and he said he won't be selling them until Monday. He said other main stores won't be either. Is this just my location? I live in Rochester, NY.

He said he has 5 in stock but cannot sell until Monday.

I spoke with sales at my local store in Boston and they said Monday to, I was planning on calling everyday mid afternoon just encase they release it earlier.

I was able to order mine through Telesales on Tuesday. I paid an extra $8.99 for overnight shipping. I got it yesterday and so far its pretty sweet!!

Walked into Verizon today and bought the Curve. It is a great phone so far, got it loaded with all of my goodies and all works as claimed. Nice upgrade and glad that I got it. I had been using the 8830 but I think that I will like this much more.

i was told by my district manager if we have them then we should sell them. maybe not merchandise for them until after the 12th.

I got mine yesterday also the manager told me he just got them in and doesn't see any problem selling them now. I am in Bakersfield california

Technically they are not supposed to be selling them in the stores until Monday, but of course from store to store, not all stores are abiding by this rule. Heck, it wasn't supposed to be sold until today via phone or internet, but people has been ordering them over the phone for a week now (I ordered on Saturday and got mine Tuesday).
