BB 8320 Battery needed
Please Login to Remove!
Hi folks
I just received a new tmobile 8320 and was so excited....however, i realised that the battery was not in the phone, neither was it in the package...I live in the Caribbean and I do not know if tmobile put the battery directly in the phone or it is placed seperately in the box..
The next question is, how much does it cost for a battery?...I have spent so much money already for the phone and to have to buy a new battery now.....oh well

When the device ships new, the battery is usually in the box in a small plastic wrapper. You can order them just about anywhere.

I am getting this error when I am trying the install desktop manager......
error 2738..Could not access VBscript runtime for custom action

When you install it right click on the .exe file and select "run as adminstrator" and see if that helps.

I am getting as far as the actual installation but nothing loads....
It says "installing BB 4.2.2

Vista does not register VBscript.....so I had to go to accessories, right click on command prompt, and run as admin...and type cd C:\Windows\System32 and regsvr32 vbscript.dll
dat fixed it

Now.....
For the 4.5 upgrade...can it be downloaded to my pc first....and later installed it to my BB...because I have not received the unlock code as yet.....or do I have to connect the BB to my computer while downloading

You do the upgrade via your PC. You don't need the device sim-unlocked to upgrade it's software. Check the stickies in the 8300 forum for the latest OS and instructions for installing.
