Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

8700g is black; someone said it is dark midnight blue, but I pretend it is black. The others are colorblind.

A little sanding some black paint (gloss,semi-gloss, or flat black) your choice and a polyurethane clear coat and you can have a black BB

The 8100 is black (along with white and red, so far) -other than that, you would have to go back to older models (6710, 7730) for black ones, I think...

I'm not sure if any of the 8700's are. The 8700g is definitely blue. The 8700r is darker but it's still blue.

Question Why???

But more importantly, which one is actually a berry?

Most of the 7200 and 7500s are black. Look here for the devices:

May I ask what the point of this thread is?

The Cingular 8800 definitely isn't black. It's midnight blue.

The 8700G is midnight blue. The Cingular 8800 is a slightly lighter shade. The German T-Mobile 8800 is black.

I don't know.....the 8800 sure looks black to me. And I also just ordered a spare battery door for it, and my two choices for colors (on RIM's website) were black, and blue. The blue really looked BLUE (i.e. not at all like my BB). So I am pretty sure the Cingular 8800 is black.
