Default Keyboard lights erratic?

Please Login to Remove!

Is there an issue with the keyboard lights? Mine seem to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it comes on when I'm typing, sometimes not.

Sometimes it comes on a while after some keyboard activity, then goes out while I'm still at it.

Is it too much to ask that the keyboard lights up when a key is pressed and stays on for a few seconds after a key is pressed?

Thanks

Andy.

i always thought it had something to do with it attempting to turn on the backlight when it thought you were taking it "out of holster" or something.

Wirelessly posted (8100 Strike 2)

Think they turn on by brightness of light in the room.

The screen itself is light sensitive, it auto-adjusts to the amount of light needed based on how dark your surroundings are.
