I've been using Google calendar for a while with the 9800 but recently theres been problems syncing and I'm losing patience!

I used to use Lotus when I had a 8800 and it was fine.
Decided today to try it again and eventually downloaded the whole software package on a free trial, backed up the 9800 and tried syncing, taken best part of the afternoon!
Found out 9800/V 6 is not compatible with Lotus 6 and i need to download 4.2 or less.

Trying to download this but not able to for my phone, the drop down box on the download page 'please select a product' doesnt give an option for a 9800 and if I use the V6 option Im not given the 4.2 to download.

By this stage of course I'm totally confused, so can someone help!

I have a Torch 9800 running software V6 Bundle 1907.

I want to use Lotus 6 as an organiser but need DM 4.2 or less.

Where can I download that from which is a straight forwards process?

You are asking about using VERY old software from both companies. The current version of Lotus Notes is 8.5.2. It works fine with RIM OS 6 and Desktop Manager 6.

I wouldn't expect good results from syncing a 9800 using DM 4.2 with an even older version of Lotus Organizer.

I think the better solution is trying to solve your sync problem with Google or go to MS Outlook.

I have been using Google calendar sync since it first became available for the BB and find that it works great. maybe an occasional dupe but nothing else so far.

What problems are you having?
