I just switched the SIM from my 7290 to my new 8700g. I put in the apn settings for t-mobile (wap.voicestream.com) but none of the the 3rd party software will work (Opera Mini and Ramble) which it did on my 7290. I spoke to customer support and they said that the 8700g on T-Mobile was currently having problems with AIM logon but couldn't explain the Opera thing. I even updated my service book just to see if that would work. Can somebody please help me?

Update: My 8700g is working perfectly. I went to Options -> Advanced
Options->Browser Push and then unchecked "Enable MDS Push". Hope this might help somebody!

Have you tried reinstalling the program. i am kinda at a lost for words since this is more than likely a t-mobile problem since I have not seen this problem at work on cingular 8700 phones. Maybe you can search to see if there are new apn codes for t-mobile.
